National Assembly

Organised by "Île-de-France Tours"

Historic and institutional site visit

The National Assembly.

Place of legislative power, mission: to make laws and control the government.

Atop the Montagne Sainte-Geneviève, the Panthéon watches over Paris as the temple of great destinies: from the heroes of the Republic to the emblematic figures of French history, each stone resonates with the echoes of national memory.

However, the Pantheon was not originally intended for this purpose. It was thanks to prayers to Saint Geneviève that King Louis XV recovered from the illness that almost took his life during the siege of Metz.

In gratitude, he chose to erect a church on the eponymous mountain, dedicated to the patron saint of Paris.

Le Panthéon: An unforgettable visit to Paris, a unique experience to be enjoyed absolutely

Imagine a place where French history speaks to you through the stones, where every step echoes with the exploits, ideas and dreams of those who shaped our country.

Discover the Panthéon, much more than a monument: an unforgettable experience, a journey to the heart of memory, art, ideas, science and history. A place where memory and emotion meet.

An impressive place, a breathtaking monument

As soon as you cross the threshold, the Pantheon impresses you with its sheer size and elegance. Its dome, one of the tallest in Paris, dominates the city, offering a breathtaking view of the capital's rooftops. Inside, its grandiose frescoes immediately plunge you into a world of its own.

Meet the Giants of History

You're not just visiting a museum: you're walking among the great men and women of France. Voltaire, Rousseau, Victor Hugo, Émile Zola, Marie Curie, Simone Veil, Joséphine Baker... Their names, engraved in stone, remind you that France was built by bold minds, committed hearts and exceptional talents.

A Place Full of Symbols

It's the temple of republican values, where everything reminds us that this monument celebrates the ideals of liberty, equality and fraternity. It's a place where we understand that history isn't confined to books: it's alive, palpable, and still speaks to us today.

Why wait?

The Pantheon isn't just a monument, it's an experience that will stay with you for the rest of your life. Whether you're a history buff, an art lover, or simply looking for a thrill, this place will amaze and inspire you. So, are you ready for this unique adventure? The Pantheon awaits you for an unforgettable journey to the heart of French greatness.

Merci.
