The following program is brought to you by volunteers from the IDFE region:
09:45-10:00: Welcome at the "Provins Tourisme counter".
Travel between sites is by foot.
10:15am-11:00am: Tour of the underground passages.
This mythical place owes its existence to the exploitation of the "fuller's earth" used in the cloth industry. The galleries served as a refuge and secret meeting place.
11:15am-12:00pm : Visit to the Grange aux Dîmes.
In this typical 12th and 13th century residence, you'll be taken through a scenography of life in the Middle Ages. Admire the vaulted lower hall and its sculpted capitals.
12:15pm-2:15pm : Lunch .
2:30pm-4:30pm: 30-minute guided tour on board the little train.
Stroll through medieval streets, admire old facades and listen to historical commentaries.
The rest of the tour, on foot, will highlight the history of Provins.
4:30 pm : End of our day, not forgetting the souvenir photo.
